Super Summer Comic Con (see more details here!)
is very pleased to announce special guest Shuster Award-winning and
Eisner Award-nominated comic book writer J Torres. The Filipino-born
Canadian author has worked for DC,
Marvel, Archie and Kids Can Press (amongst others) on various children’s
titles such as Bigfoot Boy, Jinx, Teen Titans Go!, WALL-E and Alison
Dare. In addition, he has also written for several more mature projects,
including multiple Batman and X-Men titles, Black Panther, Blue Beetle,
Ninja Scroll, Wonder Girl, Legion of Super Heroes in the 31st Century
and Wonder Woman. Finally, he is also the man behind the Canadian comics
anthology, True Patriot – and has also written for television and
