As we count down to now less than 100 days until Christmas Comic Con 2 (it's 97 days, in fact, for those scoring at home) we take time today to peruse the work of special guest - Mr. David Finch.A gentleman hailing from the very same Essex County stomping grounds that most of us live, Finch began his career at Top Cow Productions in 1995 before moving on to Marvel Comics and his eventual present employer, DC Comics. As such, he has worked on an illustrious list of iconic characters during that time, including Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, the X-Men, Daredevil, the Hulk, the Avengers and Moon Knight (to name but a small sampling).
In 2009, Finch was awarded the prestigious Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Artist for his outstanding work on the comic books Ultimatum #1-2 for Marvel Comics.
We can't express how happy we are to have Dave with us this year, and thank him for taking time from his busy schedule - including working on DC Comics upcoming "Forever Evil" arch - to be with all of us this December 1st for the Christmas Comic Con! Welcome again, Mr. David Finch.
