Super Summer Comic Con (Windsor - Aug. 15/2014) welcomes artist April Fawler

Super Summer Comic Con (Aug. 17th - MAIN CAMPUS of St. Clair College) proudly welcomes artist April Fawler! 

April is the creator and artist behind GlassMonkey Studios’ all-ages title, Apes in the Woods - her first published work. A graduate of St. Clair College’s Tradigital Animation program, her utilization of traditional watercolour techniques allows the book to combine classic comic layouts with a look reminiscent of the finest youth storybooks. 

April is also a talented caricaturist and freelance artist. Please welcome, April Fawler.

Christmas Comic Con 3 (Dec. 7th, Windsor) announces Marvel Comics artist Ryan Stegman!

Christmas Comic Con 3 proudly announces the first of our very special guests for this year’s Dec. 7th show – an artist making his first appearance to our convention and one of the top names in industry – Mr. Ryan Stegman! Best known for his work on Marvel Comics' Superior Spider-Man; Amazing Spider-Man; Scarlet Spider, Wolverine; X-23 and She-Hulks, we couldn't be more thrilled to have Ryan with us and thank him for making time in his busy schedule to accommodate our show. Please welcome, Mr. Ryan Stegman!

Windsor's Super Summer Comic Con welcomes writer, cartoonist, toymaker Sam Noir!

Super Summer Comic Con proudly announces another special guest, the multi-talented - Sam Noir. 

A writer, cartoonist and toymaker, Sam's comic work includes Cerebus: Low Society, Steampunk Originals from Arcana and Monstrosity II published by Alterna Comics. He is the also the co-creator of indie comics titles Holmes Vs. Moriarty, Victorian 4, Munchsters and the web comics series Fan Fiction the Comic Strip and Clanky @ Future Academy. He also edits the humour anthology Heady Mental, and Megozine: the Official Magazine of the Mego Museum. Please welcome, Sam Noir!

Windsor's Super Summer Comic Con welcomes award-winning writer J Torres!

Super Summer Comic Con (see more details here!) is very pleased to announce special guest Shuster Award-winning and Eisner Award-nominated comic book writer J Torres. The Filipino-born Canadian author has worked for DC, Marvel, Archie and Kids Can Press (amongst others) on various children’s titles such as Bigfoot Boy, Jinx, Teen Titans Go!, WALL-E and Alison Dare. In addition, he has also written for several more mature projects, including multiple Batman and X-Men titles, Black Panther, Blue Beetle, Ninja Scroll, Wonder Girl, Legion of Super Heroes in the 31st Century and Wonder Woman. Finally, he is also the man behind the Canadian comics anthology, True Patriot – and has also written for television and animation. Please welcome, J Torres!
