Meet award-winning illustrator/cartoonist Seth - July 5th at Windsor Comic Cons' Summer show!

Just watched the new award-winning National Film Board of Canada's documentary "Seth's Dominion." Simply outstanding. DON'T MISS SEEING "SETH'S DOMINION" JULY 5th at Windsor, Ontario's Super Summer Comic Con at the Caboto Club! We're very pleased to be showing this film TWICE during our show - with none other than Seth himself making an ULTRA-RARE comic con appearance to present the film, as well as sign books inside the con in-between showings. Extremely honoroed to have set this deal up with Biblioasis and couldn't be more proud to present Seth to Windsor - July 5th between 1-4 p.m. - at the Super Summer Comic Con 2 inside the Caboto Club (2175 Parent Avenue).

BIO and FILM DESCRIPTOR: Canadian cartoonist Seth, best known for comic books such as Palookaville, is one of the world’s great storytellers in the form. In his personal projects he transforms his poignant inner life into observant and witty graphic stories. He is also incredibly prolific, producing semi-autobiographical comics and award-winning commercial work, as well as what he calls his “little hobbies.” Director Luc Chamberland sheds light on his articulate subject, mixing insightful biography with vivid animation in an artful fusion of filmmaking techniques that perfectly captures Seth’s manifold creative universe. In this deft portrait of one of our most unique artists, Seth proves to be a wry and engaging narrator of his life story and artistic process.

Windsor Comic Cons is proud to announce that DC Comics’ JLA artist Jason Fabok will once again be appearing at Christmas Comic Con 4 – Sunday, Nov. 29th at the Caboto Club! A returning favorite, Fabok is one of the hottest talents in comic books today, having recently shifted from a lengthy stint on Batman's longest-running title - Detective Comics - to Gotham City's Batman Eternal title – to his current JLA gig. Jason has also worked for Aspen Comics. We very much appreciate Jason taking time away from his busy deadlines to visit with his area fans – so please help us welcome back Jason Fabok!

Windsor Comic Cons is pleased to welcome another new face for our 2015 shows – artist Jason Moore – who will appear at the July 5th Super Summer Comic Con 2 at Windsor, Ontario's Caboto Club – has worked for Marvel; DC; Dark Horse; Chaos!; Malibu; Arrow and Calibur Press, including the majority of the time inking over pencillers Kyle Hotz and Kelley Jones. His many credits include titles such as The Incredible Hulk; Batman Haunted Gotham; Spiderman: Osborn Journals; Realm of the Dead; Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie adaption of Sleepy Hollow; Evil Ernie: Destroyer; Leatherface; Halloween; The Dead; Angel/Buffy and Vertigo’s The Crusades. He is currently working on a 132-page graphic adaptation of the Book of Revelation (with Hotz) that will be published by Kingstone Media. In addition, he will also be working on a cover with Steven Bissette of Swamp Thing fame. Please welcome Jason Moore!

Meet Wonder Woman writer Meredith Finch, Nov. 29th at Windsor's Christmas Comic Con 4!

Windsor Comic Cons' Christmas Comic Con 4 (Nov. 29th at the Caboto Club) is pleased to announce the return of DC Comics' writer, Meredith Finch! Currently at the helm of one of the most-iconic titles of all-time (Wonder Woman, having begun her run at issue #36) Finch’s writing career began with Zenescope Entertainment, where she penned various Tales from Oz one-shots. This will be her second Christmas Comic Con appearance and Windsor Comic Cons could not be happier to have her appearing once again. Please welcome back, Meredith Finch!

Meet acclaimed horror author Josh Malerman at Windsor's Super Summer Comic Con July 5th!

Windsor Comic Cons is excited to announce a very special first-time guest to our shows - horror author Josh Malerman - whose first novel "BIRD BOX" is not only currently in development for a feature film by Universal Studios Entertainment - but has also drawn raves from the likes of noted authors Peter Straub and Hugh Howey. It has also been nominated for both the James Herbert Award and a Bram Stoker Award (given out by the Horror Writers Association). Malerman, who has also released the novella "GHASTLE AND YULE" will be appearing at our July 5th Super Summer Comic Con at the Caboto Club!

There, Malerman will provide attendees with a true horror treat - two readings from "BIRD BOX" while audience members are blindfolded - all the better to get into the spirit of a book described as such: "Something is out there . . . Something terrifying that must not be seen. One glimpse and a person is driven to deadly violence. No one knows what it is or where it came from. Five years after it began, a handful of scattered survivors remain, including Malorie and her two young children. Living in an abandoned house near the river, Malorie has long dreamed of fleeing to a place where her family might be safe. But the journey ahead will be terrifying: twenty miles downriver in a rowboat—blindfolded—with nothing to rely on but Malorie's wits and the children's trained ears. One wrong choice and they will die. And something is following them. But is it man, animal, or monster?"

The multi-talented Malerman - who is also the lead singer of the Detroit band The High Strung whose song "The Luck You Got" is the theme song for Showtime Networks' hit show Shamless - believes Inspiration is a monster that tricks artists in to waiting around all the time. And Writer's Block is one of Inspiration's minions.

Meet 'Kenny vs Spenny,' 'South Park's' Kenny Hotz at Christmas Comic Con 4, Windsor, Nov. 29th!

Windsor Comic Cons proudly announce the first-ever convention appearance of international award-winning producer, writer, director, actor and comedian - Kenny Hotz - coming to Windsor, Ontario's Giovanni Caboto Club for Christmas Comic Con 4 on Sunday, Nov. 29th!

Best-known for his wild antics as creator/star of the Comedy Central television show 'Kenny Vs. Spenny,' the multi-talented Hotz has also served as a consultant/writer for the long-running animated series, 'South Park;' produced and starred in 'Kenny Hotz's Triumph of the Will;' created the FX series 'Testees;' directed, wrote and starred in 'The Papal Chase;' hosted The Kenny Hotz Radio Show; as well as being a decorated writer for VICE magazine and a Gulf War photo-journalist.

Hotz is looking forward to meeting all his southern Ontario fans - and we couldn't be happier to have him. Please welcome - and be warned! - here comes Kenny Hotz!
